You wouldn’t want to miss this!

Over to Saba…

Definitely My Cup Of Tea

1No early morning drive is complete without a stopover at a chaiwallah on the highway. Mine tasted even better in my favourite mug while taking a break on our way from Gurgaon to Ranthambore. Luckily the weather gods too were in favour.

MakeMyTrip Recommended Trip Stop

2Considering the massive foodies my husband and I are, we’re being very picky when passing on the ‘MakeMyTrip Recommended’ stamp of approval to eateries on the highway. Rao Shudh Shakahari Bhojnalya in Tijara was an easy winner with its amazing aloo ke paranthe and the appetizing hari mirch ki chutney.

Sugarcane High

3Temperatures started to soar as the day progressed on the Rajasthan State Highway 25 but Dausa (district) got us some respite in the form of refreshing sugarcane juice from a local vendor. Yes, it was clean and hygienic.

Rajasthani Cola!

4It was surprising to see the usual international cola brands’ billboard replaced by a local thirst quencher that goes by the name of Jayanti Cola. Note to self: Try it the first chance we get.

A Walk In The Fort

5Having arrived in the afternoon, we decided to grab a quick bite and then head out to explore the Ranthambore Fort. It is common to spot deer, peacocks, parrots, grey langurs and various species of birds out in the open as you hike up to the fort. Are you wondering about the tigers? Well, they’ll happen tomorrow when we take the early morning safari. :)

Stay tuned…
