It is not very often that great music from all parts of the country can be enjoyed in the company of stars every night for almost a week. And when the venue of the event is Ananta Spa & Resorts in Pushkar, the least that you can expect is a celebration of life, close to the roots of our tradition and nature.

For the first time ever, the Blue Lotus Festival, an initiative of Le Kulture and IndiEarth, will transform Pushkar into a centre stage of talent from all over India. This humble town famous for its Brahma Temple and the Pushkar Mela will be set on an unmatched symphony of soulful music from February 13 to 18. While celebrated artists like Raza Khan, Ravi Sharma, Manfool Bhopa, Amin Khan, Saleh Mohhamad and many more will be gracing the stage with their performances, the festival will also see upcoming artists showcasing their talent. The events in the festival cover a wide range of genres from folk and classical to devotional and Sufi.

The Blue Lotus Festival aims at celebrating music, which is an expression of human emotions. Therefore, days have been dedicated to specific sentiments. For example, Day 3 called ‘Experience the Divine’ will play devotional music in all the performances of the day.  The theme for Valentine’s Day will be ‘India in Love’. Explore the meaning of love in different languages and listen to tales of love from the artists rendered beautifully through their music. What could be more special than listening to such music in the company of your beloved under the sparkling night sky? Music and dance performances from Kerala, U.P., Kashmir and Kullu can also be enjoyed during the day.

At the iconic Ananta Spa & Resort, the day will begin with the music of birds chirping during yoga and Art of Living sessions, while the afternoons can be spent understanding the nuances of music from various artists. Movies dedicated to different genres of music will be screened later in the day. In the evening, take a camel ride to the dunes where some of the events shall be held. In the Craft Zone, you will not only be able to purchase exquisite handicrafts from different regions but also witness the process of their making. For the gastronome, indulgent meals from Punjabi, Rajasthani and Maharashtrian cuisine can be enjoyed on all days of the event.

With such a varied and rich routine designed for you throughout the festival where every moment will be filled with deep emotions, am I mistaken in saying that the Blue Lotus Festival gives a chance to live a new life dedicated to music and wellbeing? Make the most of this festival with MakeMyTrip’s flights, train and bus bookings.
